Yoga for Real Life!
The Challenges of a Stiff Body and a Busy Mind.
Maybe your life doesn't leave much time for movement. Maybe you're dealing with a tight lower back, stiff hips or tension in your neck and shoulders from hours at a desk or sitting, unsure how to move without making it worse.
At the same time, it's easy to feel discouraged. You may have tried yoga before and felt like your body just wasn't "made" for it. If you're craving time to switch off from the demands of everyday life, tune into your body and quieten your mind, then you’re in the right place.
I fell in love with traditional Hatha yoga in Rishikesh, India. My body didn't agree.
No matter how hard I pushed, I couldn't force myself into the same shapes. I felt stiff, frustrated, quietly convinced yoga just wasn't built for a body like mine.
Years later, I found another way — one that blends functional movement and anatomy with traditional practice. Less about flexibility, more about mobility. Less about forcing the body into the pose, more about adapting the pose to the body in front of me.
Because yoga was never one shape for every body. It was always meant to meet you where you are.
If this sounds like your kind of yoga, come and join me!

Absolutely not! My classes include options throughout so you can explore what feels right for your body.
That said, if you're used to a fast-paced, advanced practice, this might not be the class for you.

Yes! Yoga is about much more than forcing your body into a certain shape (whatever Instagram might have you believe). Everyone's body is different, so if your pose looks different to everyone else's, that's completely fine, just follow the cues, feel into your own body and have fun.
And it's not just about the poses. Each class also includes breathing, mindfulness, relaxation and a sprinkling of yoga philosophy, so you'll leave feeling good, not just stretched.

If you have your own yoga mat and props, please bring them along, it's always nicer to use your own kit.
But if you don't have any yet, don't let that put you off. I've got spare mats and props you're welcome to borrow.

Anything comfy that you can move around easily in, like leggings or loose-fitting bottoms and a t-shirt are ideal.
